MEO Marés moves to Leça da Palmeira for its 2026 edition
Primavera Sound will resonate again in Porto from June 11 to 14, 2026, marking the festival's 13th edition at the expansive Parque da Cidade. The 13th edition promises 55 artists at Parque da Cidade, blending global stars and local talent.

Born in Barcelona in 2001, this event has carved a distinct path in Porto since 2012, offering a heterogeneous lineup of 55 artists that spans indie, electronic, rock and beyond, all tied by the unmistakable Primavera Sound spirit.
Leading the bill are The xx, returning after 14 years to the park; Gorillaz, set to unveil tracks from their upcoming album The Mountain; and the elusive Massive Attack, extending their festival debut to Portugal.
IDLES bring raw energy, Big Thief deliver folk-rock precision, Ethel Cain preaches her gospel-infused sound, and Bad Gyal collects hits, while KNEECAP, Slowdive, JADE, Dijon, Oklou and Amaarae shape the future-facing vibe.
The diversity shines through with Sudan Archives' dance perspectives, Melt-Banana's noise-rock, Agriculture's black metal, Gisela João's fado, Panda Bear's psychedelia, and more: Criolo's afro-jazz, Viagra Boys' punk-funk, Peggy Gou's rhythms, plus Portuguese standouts like Xinobi (DJ set), NAPA, PAUS, emmy Curl, Rita Vian, Capicua and Inês Marques Lucas.
Exclusives for Porto include Black Country, New Road, Nation of Language and Model/Actriz, alongside Spanish scenesters Triángulo de Amor Bizarro and Aiko el grupo, reinforcing the musical interchange that defines the festival.
For the second year, Primavera Bits caps Sunday, June 14, with an open-air dancefloor featuring Peggy Gou, Dixon, Xinobi and SuM.
Backed by Porto City Council with institutional support and strategic partners like Vodafone, Revolut, CUPRA and Fever as the exclusive ticket seller, the event continues to elevate live music in the Norte region.
