After more than a decade in Vila Nova de Gaia, MEO Marés – formerly known as MEO Marés Vivas – is beginning a new chapter. The festival moves to Praia do Aterro Norte, in Leça da Palmeira, Matosinhos, where it will take place on 17, 18 and 19 July 2026.

Two acts have already been confirmed: Da Weasel, who will perform on the MEO stage accompanied by an orchestra directed by maestro Rui Massena, and British artist Seal. More national and international names are set to be announced in the coming weeks.

The new venue reinforces the festival's connection to the sea, the territory and mobility, while delivering improved access and a more inclusive experience for audiences, artists and partners. The 2026 edition maintains the festival's core pillars of music, culture, technological innovation, inclusion and sustainability, and also introduces art as a new dimension.

Tickets are already on sale via MEO Blueticket and Ticketline, with daily passes priced at €50 and a three-day general pass at €100.
