FC Porto are Champions 25/26!

The wait is finally over. The UEFA Champions League returns to Porto this September, with FC Porto set to welcome Manchester City, PSV Eindhoven, Napoli and Slavia Praha to the Estádio do Dragão during the league phase. The first European night comes on September 8, when Manchester City arrives in Porto for what promises to be a major opening fixture.
For FC Porto, these nights carry particular weight. The club has lifted European football’s most prestigious trophy twice, first in 1987 and again in 2004, establishing itself as one of the most successful clubs in the competition outside Europe’s traditional superpowers. The Dragão has also become synonymous with major European occasions, making a Champions League match an opportunity to experience a very distinctive side of Portuguese football culture.
For international visitors, the appeal goes well beyond the 90 minutes. A Champions League trip to Porto can easily become a city break, combining elite European football with the historic streets of the city, the Douro waterfront, local food and the atmosphere that makes Porto such a popular destination. Come for the Champions League, stay for Porto. The city is ready for another European football season.
