For the fifth consecutive year, Porto has been named one of Europe's leading destinations for foreign direct investment by fDi Intelligence, reinforcing the city's reputation as a competitive and attractive hub for international business. The distinction places Porto ahead of larger European capitals in categories evaluating FDI strategy, economic potential and business environment.

Three companies with operations in Porto were highlighted in the new Investment Impact Awards, a category that evaluates the real effect of investment projects on local productivity, innovation and inclusion.

The awards ceremony will take place on 10 March in Cannes, at MIPIM, Europe's largest real estate and investment fair.
