Porto City Council has revealed that this year's headline acts for New Year's Eve celebrations will include Richie Campbell, performing on the stage at Avenida dos Aliados, and Carolina Deslandes and Jimmy P, the latter performing after midnight in the Gardens of the Crystal Palace.

New Year's Eve concerts in Porto will be divided between Avenida dos Aliados and the Gardens of the Crystal Palace, with the usual fireworks display scheduled for midnight at Praça da República. In a statement released on Wednesday, Porto City Council announced that the city "will provide an unforgettable New Year's Eve, full of music, color, joy, and a fireworks spectacle."

The headline acts this year are Richie Campbell, Carolina Deslandes, and Jimmy P, and the program will be divided into two stages: one at Avenida dos Aliados and another at Praça do Rossio in the Gardens of the Crystal Palace.

The stage set up at Aliados will kick off at 10:30 pm with the "We Trust" project, the musical alter ego of director André Tentúgal, and at 12:10 am, Richie Campbell "promises to infect the city center with his sounds and energy." The night at Aliados will conclude with a performance by artist Zinko, who will deliver a live act.

Meanwhile, at the stage set up in the Gardens of the Crystal Palace, the night will begin at 10:30 pm with a performance by Carolina Deslandes, followed by Jimmy P taking the stage shortly after midnight, presenting a set of songs "that promises to enhance the festivities on this special night."

At both stages, the OCUBO collective will present a multimedia show titled "Beloved Porto," which will serve as the countdown to the new year starting at 11:50 pm.

At midnight, the city skies "will fill with brilliance and light, with a monumental fireworks display" launched from Praça da República, where comedian Francisco Menezes will be the special guest for the countdown. Entry is free for all spaces.

On the first day of the year, the city will continue its tradition with the Portuguese Symphonic Band presenting the New Year's Concert starting at 4:00 pm at Avenida dos Aliados.
