Last day at MEO Marés Vivas 2022

The last day of the festival had a large presence of teenagers and a strong and early adhesion to the lineups throughout the venue.

MARO

MARO was tasked with opening the main stage on the last day of the festival. The 27-year-old Portuguese singer, formed in Boston's Berklee College of Music, have already worked with the well-known Jacob Collier. However, the artist was freshly known to the public given its recent presence in the Eurovision 2022, representing Portugal.

MARO released her first album in 2018, untitled, from where an intimate-style concert of 45 minutes was built, in front of a crowd that was being composed very early on. The artist surprised them by presenting a new song featuring in her future album.

Diogo Piçarra

Another Portuguese artist followed, Diogo Piçarra, a recurring author of ballads, who led to a full excitement from all the teenagers, in large numbers throughout the audience. An energetic concert began, and Piçarra was clearly showing the pleasure he was feeling in returning to the stage of this particular festival.

In a concert that never disappoints, and the day was still halfway through, the artist was in direct contact with the crowd more than once. There was also time for references to the queens of the night, lining up next, which clearly accelerated the anxiety of the most impatient.

Jessie J

Jessie J, the British artist with more than 10 million album sales, hit the ground running and wasn't there to make it easy. In fact, there were even those who considered her name to be the real headliner of the night. The singer proved to have a powerful voice, endowed with an incredible talent.

Not only talent but sense of humor, in interaction with the fans, was noticed. The alignment could stop as often as necessary for a personalized dialogue with the crowd to take place.

If you don't know the lyrics, don't show it eye to eye with me. I'm kidding, sing out loud, do what you want, just have fun!

Anitta

Energies were needed for what was to come. On a third sold-out day, all roads led to the main stage, all attention was focused on the last performance of the festival. The headliner Anitta.

Anitta presented a lineup with many hits such as 'Show das Poderosas', 'Vai Malandra' and even 'Faz Gostoso', by Blaya, recorded with Madonna in 2019. There was also room to premiere "Tudo Nosso"!

Anitta reassured the fans before the farewell:

Guys, I'm leaving now but I'll be back!
