Authentica Festival, the largest indoor festival in Portugal, returns to Braga in December with diverse lineup

We were there, covering last year’s successful edition, and the news are great. The largest indoor festival in Portugal, Authentica, returns to Braga on December 8-9 with a diverse lineup that includes artists from different genres, from pop to hip hop, rock to electronic music.

Headliners

Among the headliners are Jason Derulo, an American R&B singer, and James Arthur, a British singer-songwriter. Jason Derulo is one of the most popular artists of today, with hits like "Talk Dirty," "Swalla," and "Savage Love." The singer returns to Portugal after his performance at Rock in Rio Lisbon in 2022.

James Arthur is one of the most successful British artists of today, with four studio albums released, all of them certified platinum in the United Kingdom. The singer is known for songs like "Say You Won't Let Me Go," "Impossible," and "Say It Again."

Also performing on the Authentica stage, the main stage of the festival, are Calum Scott, Kevin O Chris, Tom Grennan, Xutos & Pontapés, and Wilson Honrado.

Calum Scott is an English singer-songwriter who rose to fame after appearing on the talent show "Britain's Got Talent." The artist is known for songs like "Dancing On My Own" and "You Are The Reason."

Urban stage

On the Urban stage, dedicated to sounds more closely linked to hip hop and trap, will perform Lon3r Johny, Kappa Jotta, Orochi, and Cripta. Lon3r Johny is a Portuguese singer-songwriter who is considered one of the most promising artists in Portuguese urban music. The artist is known for songs like "Só" and "Maldade."

Kappa Jotta is a Brazilian singer-songwriter who is considered one of the leading names in Brazilian rap. The artist is known for songs like "Carro de Luxo" and "Minha Vida."

Orochi is a Brazilian singer-songwriter who is considered one of the most popular artists of Brazilian national rap. The artist is known for songs like "Amor de Fim de Noite" and "Só Você."

Cripta is an emerging Portuguese DJ who is known for mixing styles like hip hop, trap, and funk.
