The FC Porto Museum and the Estádio do Dragão have been named the Best Landmark in Portugal for 2023, receiving the Tiqets Remarkable Venue Awards. This prestigious recognition is based on visitor evaluations shared on the online Tiqets platform and reaffirms the Tour FC Porto experience (Museum + Stadium) on the international stage of the awards.

Previously awarded as the Best Attraction in Portugal and the World in the 2022 national and global Remarkable Venue Awards, the FC Porto Museum and the Estádio do Dragão have surpassed renowned landmarks such as the Jerónimos Monastery, the Pena National Palace and Park, and the Castle of the Moors in the Best Landmark category for Portugal this year. This positions them among the winners of the Tiqets distinctions, which are being awarded for the second time in our country and in a renewed format.

Next comes the international award competition. Online voting is already underway on the Tiqets platform and will conclude on October 3rd, with the FC Porto Museum and the Estádio do Dragão competing against attractions like Windsor Castle (United Kingdom), Willis Tower (USA), Burj Al Arab (United Arab Emirates), El Capricho de Gaudi (Spain), Chateau de Villandry (France), Museum Our Lord in the Attic (Netherlands), and Catacombs of San Gennaro (Italy).

On September 28th, the FC Porto Museum commemorates its 10th anniversary, coinciding with the celebration of the club's 130 years. Additionally, the Estádio do Dragão will mark its 20th anniversary on November 16th.

In 2023, the Tour FC Porto experience will be the sole representative of global sports tourism in the Global Winners phase of the 2023 Remarkable Venue Awards. In other categories, Spiritus Lightshow at Clérigos (Porto), Museu do Azulejo (Lisbon), Zoomarine (Algarve), A Casa do Fado (Porto), Casa da Guitarra (Porto), and Quake – Centro do Terramoto (Lisbon) are also representing Portugal on the international stage.
