Economy Forum at Porto Customs House

The Customs House Congress Center hosts the Porto Economy Forum on Tuesday, bringing together companies, entrepreneurs, academia, and other stakeholders in a 'moment dedicated to talent, investment, and entrepreneurship that drive the economic fabric of the city.'

Admission is free, but requires prior registration, which can be done online.

The program includes interventions from various speakers. Pedro Santa Clara, from Shaken not Stirred, will address 'The challenges of attracting, retaining, and developing talent in cities.' Vitor Alves, from GKN Automotive, Mariana Salvaterra, from Zülkhe, and Aniceto Viegas, from Avenue, will discuss 'Porto as a hub for attracting international investment and talent,' in a conversation that will also involve the City Councilor for Economy, Employment, and Entrepreneurship, Ricardo Valente.

André Fernandes, from U.Porto Inovação, André Albergaria, from i3S, and Débora Campos, from AgroGrIN Tech, will speak on the topic 'From research to market: turning talent into businesses.' The last panel, on 'Talent Analytics,' will bring together Bernardo Almada-Lobo, from LTP Labs, Carlos Maia, from Hays, and Carlos Rodolfo Santos, from Infraspeak.

According to the organization, in addition to the conferences, the Porto Economy Forum will feature masterclasses in areas such as artificial intelligence or entrepreneurship, as well as talks and showcases.
