Air Invictus - The Air Race through the Douro is back!

Air Invictus has now published its full programme, confirming that the event will spread across four cities in Greater Porto over three days. Organisers expect around one million visitors, as the festival combines aviation, aerospace, technology and live entertainment along the Douro and beyond.
The schedule includes 15 events, among them Air Show, Air Tattoo, Air Race, Air Drone, Air Expo, Air Lab, Air Summit, Warbirds, Special Forces, Air Music Fest and Voa Baixinho. The format brings together aircraft displays, drone performances, talks, exhibitions and music, with the aim of creating a large public event for different audiences.
Maia will host the opening activities at Vilar de Luz airfield, including the Expo Air Invictus, pilot receptions, autograph sessions and aircraft displays. Later that day, Matosinhos will add a more festive setting at Praia do Titan, with an aeromodelling show, a 90s concert, night aerobatics and a drone show.
On Saturday, Porto and Gaia become the main stage, with the Eyes in the Sky defence industry fair at Alfândega do Porto, an Air Expo on the Gaia riverfront, a DJs battle over the Douro and an aerial competition between the Arrábida Bridge and Dom Luís I Bridge. The day also includes a nighttime drone show and a major visual spectacle over the river.

In previous editions of the Red Bull Air Race, crowds packed every possible spot along the riverbanks!
The final day continues with activity in Maia and a bike tour between Gaia and Porto, before the awards ceremony in Gaia. With its mix of free access, multiple locations and a dense programme, Air Invictus is shaping up to be one of the most ambitious aviation events ever staged in the region.
