Porto’s biggest student festival runs from 2 to 9 May at the Queimódromo, with around 250,000 people expected and 50 artists spread across three stages. This year’s edition also puts a stronger emphasis on safety, accessibility, sustainability and social support, according to the Federação Académica do Porto.

The 2026 programme includes Morad, Calum Scott, Slow J, Dillaz, Veigh, Richie Campbell, Chico da Tina, Quim Barreiros and Xutos & Pontapés, alongside DJs and comedians. Traditional moments such as the Monumental Serenata, the Missa da Bênção das Pastas and the Cortejo Académico remain central to the week.

FAP says security will be the largest investment ever made in the event, representing 35% of the budget, with more than 500 people on duty daily, supported by 12 watchtowers and over 100 CCTV cameras. The festival will also keep its cashless system, reinforce public transport with STCP, Metro do Porto and CP, and offer 2,000 tickets for scholarship students.

Accessibility and sustainability are also being expanded, with sign language interpreters at all main-stage concerts, accessible routes, adapted food areas and new environmental guidelines for the stalls. FAP also highlights water points, waste-sorting measures and a further push to reduce the festival’s environmental footprint across both the Queimódromo and the academic parade.

Tickets are available online.
