The initiative is promoted by the Câmara Municipal do Porto and brings together concerts, theatre, workshops, sport and other hands-on activities across the gardens and the Biblioteca Municipal Almeida Garrett.
The weekend programme is open to the public on 30 and 31 May, while 1 June is reserved for schools. According to the city agenda, activities run from 10:00 to 19:00 during the weekend, with a morning-only slot for school visits on 1 June.
The event is designed to offer children different ways to explore the city through play, movement and creativity, with a varied schedule that changes over the three days. It also reinforces the role of the Palácio de Cristal gardens as one of Porto’s most accessible public spaces for large family events.
For visitors and residents alike, it is a simple and free way to spend the weekend outdoors in one of the city’s best-known green spaces.
